Suedtor Bruecke / South Gate Bridge
Vom Anfang des 14. Jahrhundert bis zum Ende des 17. Jahrhunderts war Cork nur durch zwei Zugbrücken erreichbar. Die Zugbrücke nach Süden wurde 1713 durch eine dreibögige feste Brücke ersetzt, die 1824 erweitert wurde. Sie gehört zu den ältesten Brücken ihrer Art in Irland.
From the beginning of the 14th century to the end of the 17th century Cork was only accessible by two draw bridges. The one going south was replaced by a three arched stationary bridge in 1713 and expanded in 1824. It is one of the oldest bridges of its kind in Ireland.
