Kirche zum Hl. Petrus (CoI) / St. Peter's CoI Church

Bandon entstand in zwei Teilen, einer nördlich und einer südlich des Flusses. So gab es auch zwei protestantische Kirchen (die katholische Kirche wurde außerhalb der Stadt gebaut). Die Christ Church im Nordteil ist heute noch vorhanden, wurde aber 1973 als Kirche entwidmet. Die Kirche im Südteil wurde in den 1840er durch eine neue Kirche im neugotischen Stil, die dem Hl. Petrus geweiht ist, ersetzt. 1973 wurde das Mobiliar von der Christ Church übernommen.
Bandon consisted of two parts, one north of the river, one south of it. And therefore there were two Protestant churches (the Catholic church was built outside the town). Christ Church in the northern part still exists, however was deconsecrated in 1973. The church in the southern part was replaced in the 1840s by a church in Gothic Revival style and is dedicated to St. Peter. In 1973 the furniture of Christ Church was moved to St. Peter's.
