Mount Stewart
Kleeblatt Garten / Shamrock Garden
The Shamrock Garden is inspired by Irish mythology: It is laid out in the form of a three-leaved clover (which is barely recognizeable from the ground), a flower bed in the middle symbolizes the Red Hand of Ulster (at least when the flowers are in bloom) and a topiary hedge depicts the Irish Harp. Other mythical figures that should be present in the garden according to various descriptions we read in advance are not to be found.
