Ogham Stein / Ogham Stone

Beim College des Hl. Brendan steht ein Ogham Stein aus dem 3. Jahrhundert n. Chr. Er war früher ein Teil der Sammlung von Ogham Steinen, die zwischen Beaufort und dem Gap of Dunloe aufgestellt sind und die aus verschiedenen Standorten zusammengetragen wurden. Bei unserem Besuch im Jahre 2012 ist die Straße dorthin gesperrt, somit ist der Stein beim College der einzige den wir zu sehen bekommen.
Beside St. Brendan's College there is an Ogham stone from the 3rd century AD. It was formerly part of the collection of Ogham stones set up between Beaufort village and the Gap of Dunloe who were brought there from different locations. When we visit in 2012 the road to these stones is blocked and so the one beside the college is the only one we see.
