Die Jackson's Bridge bei der Universitätsstadt Maynooth (Maigh Nuad) ist ungewöhnlich lange, denn sie überspannt nicht nur den Kanal selbst, sondern auch den Treidelpfad (was sonst nicht üblich ist) und die Eisenbahnstrecke von Dublin nach Mullingar.

Jackson's Bridge close to the university town of Maynooth (Maigh Nuad) is unusually long, because it spans not only across the canal itself, but also over the towpath (which is not common) and the railway line from Dublin to Mullingar.
