Die älteste Erwähnung einer Brücke über den Fluss Suir neben der Burg stammt aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Die noch bestehende Brücke wurde im 18. Jahrhundert erbaut und verbindet die Burg, die auf einer Insel in der Suir steht, mit den beiden Ufern.
The oldest records of a bridge across the River Suir date back to the 17th century. The still existing bridge was built in the 18th century and connects the castle, that stands on an isle in the river, with both banks.
