Die Mühle wurde im späten 18. Jahrhundert gebaut und war bis in die 1960er in Betrieb. Das Mühlrad ist noch erhalten, es ist als unterschlächtiges Mühlrad ausgeführt - angeblich das letzte dieser Art in Irland. Die Mühle befindet sich auf Privatbesitz, was einen Besuch leider verhindert.

The mill was built in the late 18th century and was in operation until the 1960s. The mill wheel is extant, it is designed as an undershot wheel - reportedly the last of its kind in Ireland. The mill stands on private property which makes a visit not possible.
