Rosslare Spitze / Rosslare Point

Die Hafenbucht von Wexford wird im Süden durch eine schmale Landzunge begrenzt, an deren Ende die Rosslare Spitze (Rinn Ros Láir) liegt. Eine schmale Straße führt fast bis zur Spitze, die letzten paar Hundert Meter sind ein wunderbarer Spaziergang am Sandstrand soweit es die aktuelle Tide zulässt. Am Horizont können wir die Raven Spitze erkennen, welche die Hafenbucht im Norden begrenzt.
Wexford Harbour is bordered in the south by a small headland at which's end there is the Rosslare Point (Rinn Ros Láir). A small road goes almost to the point, the last few hundreds of metres are a wonderful walk over the sandy beach as far as the actual tide allows. On the horizon we can see the Raven Point, which borders the harbour in the north.
